Te Tahua Reorua

He tahua tēnei e whakatairanga ana i te reo Māori i te rohe o Whakatāne. Ka whakaarotau tēnei tahua ki ngā taiopenga, ngā waitara, me ngā mahi e mātua whakanui ana i te reo Māori.

Kua huakina tēnei tahua ki ngā tono tae rā anō ki te $5,000. Mēnā kua rahi ake tō tono i te $5,000, tēnā, whakapā atu ki te Kaitohu Tahua Hapori grants@whakatane.govt.nz

The Reorua Contestable Fund

The Reorua Contestable Fund champions the use of te reo Māori in the Whakatāne District. The funding focus is for events, projects, and activities that encourage and revitalize te reo Māori.

We are currently accepting applications for up to $5000. if you would like to apply for more than $5000, contact the Community Funding Advisor at grants@whakatane.govt.nz

Confirmation Of Eligibility

I/we confirm that:

  • I/we have read and understood the guidelines for the Reorua Contestable Fund.
  • I/we are not applying for anything Whakatāne District Council cannot fund, including salaries and retrospective funding.
  • The project/activity I/we are applying for funding for directly benefits people in the Whakatāne District.
  • There are no overdue forms, reports or unspent funding owed to Whakatāne District Council from previous funding.
  • I/we will abide by the Terms and Conditions for Grant Recipients if I/we receive a grant.
